Your PDF is opened and read in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded or stored by SignSure. If you import a link, our server fetches that file and passes the bytes straight back to your browser without keeping them.
The text
The text extracted from your papers is sent to Google Gemini to write the reading. SignSure currently uses Gemini's free tier, on which Google may use submitted content to improve its products, and people may review it. Do not upload papers you are not comfortable sharing on those terms. We will not sell paid readings until the reading runs on a paid tier where submitted content is not used for training.
Public lookups
To check planning and the area, the property address (not the papers) is sent to OpenStreetMap and to the state planning map service for that state. If price research is switched on, the address is also sent to Google Search through Gemini.
What we keep
- The finished report, for 7 days, then it is deleted automatically.
- Your email address and sign-in sessions, so readings are tied to you.
- A one-way fingerprint of the papers' text and job records for up to 2 days, to stop double charges and duplicate readings.
- Your IP address in rate-limit counters for up to 2 days, to stop abuse.
Sign-in links are sent by Resend. We do not send marketing email.
Payments
Payments are switched off. When they open, card details go to Stripe; we keep only what we need to give you your readings.
We do not
- Sell or share your papers or reports.
- Keep your PDF.
Contact and deletion
To delete your account and reports early, sign in and use the account page, or contact us through the site.
